Once to paradise next door, please: Weekend on Fehmarn

Short trip to paradise: Holidays on Fehmarn
A note in advance: This blog article is classified as advertising. Our accommodation on Fehmarn belongs to friends and we were invited to test it for free and then recommend it to our blog readers if necessary. You wouldn't get to read this blog article if we didn't really like it. Because honesty and incorruptibility are a matter of honor at Kleine Prints. But since we liked it very much, at the end of the article I have a great extra for all of you who urgently need a break!Fehmarn, you beautiful!
Fehmarn, that is the beautiful Baltic Sea island, on which there are (supposedly) the most hours of sunshine in all of Germany every year! Whether that's true or not, one thing is fact: The island is a great destination for a weekend trip, especially for people from the surrounding federal states, but is certainly also suitable for a one to two week vacation. It is up to you whether you want to relax or be very active with kitesurfing, long walks and the like. Fehmarn offers everything a sea and nature lover's heart desires.

Activities on Fehmarn
As I said, the leisure activities on Fehmarn are really very good. There is the thermal bath "Fehmare"which we didn't use this time. At the time of our visit, only the wellness area was open, which is not so useful with a child. During one of our previous stays in Fehmarn we have also been to the Aquariumwhich is of course nice with children too!

Insider tip for design fans
In addition, Mr. Terhaer pointed out a real Fehmarn design treasure whose importance is probably not known to many. There is namely on Fehmarn a holiday complex with three high-rise buildings from the late 1960s. Many consider these skyscrapers to be the absolute eyesore, but if you look closely they are actually pretty pretty. No wonder, because they were developed by the Dane Arne Jacobsen, one of my absolute favorite designers! That was actually a really unexpected design surprise for me.
Our dream accommodation: The Villas Fehmarn
As I said, we stayed with friends this time. More precisely in "The Villas", a small, very beautiful holiday home complex in Fehmarnsund. The various villas are all mega-stylish, modern and comfortably furnished. With their bright, quiet atmosphere, the beautiful houses make you relax by themselves - the great location and the unique sea view do the rest. If you want a really relaxed holiday by the sea, this is definitely the right place!

Conclusion: refueling quickly on Fehmarn? It worked!
Although it has been proven that you only really recover after a few weeks of vacation, the weekend on Fehmarn definitely charged my batteries once! To see something different again, the beautiful surroundings, the good sea air, nature - that's just good, even if you only have two or three days to spare. I would do it again, maybe even as a Mom time out to relax with friends!Would you like to relax by the sea? 10% discount!
